When I see something truly original, I wonder what it could possibly have been conceived for, and then I wonder if doing something different with it than what it was originally intended for is somehow "wrong". You certainly made very good use of your beautiful gauzy checked wool!Sarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07258135026180386881noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1374783908598391491.post-71621225726950605842014-04-09T18:36:49.836+08:002014-04-09T18:36:49.836+08:00Amazing coat. Maybe the leatherette has sucked the happiness out of the coat and it needs a rest somewhere dark to recover? I love the strong contrast of the piping and the beautiful textural appearance of the fabric, a very smart coat.<br />kbencohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00885068563358776147noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1374783908598391491.post-3727124718533001432014-04-09T10:03:48.775+08:002014-04-09T10:03:48.775+08:00Beautiful coat! Several years ago I made a coat that I was so excited for and when it was finished didn't know if I even liked it. I was so disappointed at first. Gradually, it grew on me and has become one of my favourite pieces. Unfortunately, it's now starting to show its age and wear and may need to be retired soon (I wear it a lot this time of year, it's perfect for the protracted transition from winter to spring we typically have in my part of Canada).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1374783908598391491.post-55872695588385807622014-04-08T19:12:26.869+08:002014-04-08T19:12:26.869+08:00You do wonders with every pattern that comes to yo...You do wonders with every pattern that comes to your hands!
