Australia Day

Today is Australia Day, and what better cuisine to enjoy than a meat pie and sauce served on a paper bag.  Mmmm mmmm.
Fabio approves.
Wishing all a perfectly wonderful day!

Have a fabulous day and I love that you posted a photo of a gnome! I spent a summer planting gnomes at my mums place and she couldn't figure out where they were coming from for the longest time!

You had me confused with this post. Not because it is Australia Day (what better excuse to get out and enjoy the summer sun)but because of the timing of your post. I always read your updates at breakfast time and given I am 5 hours ahead time wise, it took me a moment to get my head around the Thursday post....until I figured out you must be a night owl!

Happy Aussie Day, fellow Aussie's!!!
BBQ planned if the deluges of yesterday hold off, if not then I will have to 'force' myself to remain inside and sew....

LOL! Happy Australia Day to you too. Looking at your weather forecast I hope the heat isn't too much.

Have a great day also!
We have nothing planned - apart from a quiet day reaxing at home. I slept in to quite late this morning which is very strange for me. Hope the heat in WA is not too bad - just don't send it accross to Vic, as what we're getting is just bearable for me!!

Did you saw the film "Le Fabuleux Destin de Amélie Poulin"? It's a good film and it shows a statue of a gnome that travels...
I think it's yours...

Sweet memories of a pie and sauce. Lived in Adelaide for 10 years, many years ago. Now in Oregon, USA. Love your blog.
